As the knee flexes, the spring absorbs kinetic energy and then decompresses during the extension phase, restoring the energy to assist with movement.For optimal flexibility and smoothness, we suggest setting the spring power to support one-third of your body weight. However, you can easily customize the level of assistance to your personal needs and preferences.The device is attached to the boot’s shell and provides upper body support through a comfortable harness. The exoskeleton is held in place by a neoprene sheath, which conforms to each person’s unique body shape based on their hip circumference, femoral length, and tibial length. The neoprene sheath is not intended to provide lateral knee support and should not be overly tightened.
