ABELarm was created with the aim of helping stroke survivors and individuals who experience difficulties in arm movements to achieve greater independence in their daily lives. This motorized orthosis allows users to control their elbow, shoulder, and wrist movements, enabling them to use their affected arm as a “support arm” during routine activities. Furthermore, the device has the potential to enhance arm function by providing training to the affected limb.
